Use them on your own work
These are the records we produce at each stage of the Company OS Method. Each one is a plain Markdown file with field definitions and a checklist that ends the stage. Download them, fill them in for your own function, and use them whether or not you work with us.
The templates

| 2 Map processes | Process card | Describe one process: trigger, inputs, numbered steps, decisions, outputs, owner and the metric it moves |
| 3 Classify steps | Step classification | Decide who or what does each step, classify its risk, and choose the first slice |
| 4 Design the role | Role design | Specify the digital employee: role card, capabilities, knowledge, permissions, approvals and schedule |
| 5 Fit to the workspace | Workspace fit sheet | Map each requirement to a workspace feature and list what must be built |
| 7 and 8 Calibrate and operate | Scorecard | Compare against the baseline, set thresholds, and review autonomy with evidence |
How to use them
Start with the inventory, even if you think you know the function well. Write a process card only for processes that are candidates for a digital employee. Treat each checklist as the end of the stage: if the record cannot answer it, the stage is not finished.
