TOOL · COST CHECK · AUTOMATE WITH AI · FINANCE AND AI ECONOMICS
Is this AI tool worth the money?
What it costs, what it returns in cash, what it frees up in time. Three numbers kept apart. A negative answer is still an answer.
Your numbers
Dashed = sample. Solid = yours. Changed numbers are your assumptions.
How it's worked out
Total cost = (setup + monthly cost × months) × (1 + contingency / 100). Net cash = monthly cash benefit × months − total cost. Capacity value = hours freed × hourly value × months. Capacity is never added to cash.
What we assumed, and where it breaks
Benefits begin in month one. Freed hours only have value if you can use them elsewhere. Contingency applies to the whole cost. Training, switching and cancellation costs are included only if you add them to your inputs.
Sources and who checked
These examples use local synthetic fixtures and user-entered assumptions. No external source, named reviewer or production validation is claimed. Export the result to retain its evidence and input labels.
