The Catalog · 2026Two series at a glance
Editorial
Two series. One shelf.
The catalog is organised into two parallel series. They share an editorial voice, a visual language, and a paper stock — but they answer different questions for different reading occasions.
Series I · The Field Guide
For the work of being a person who ships.
The original line. Day-by-day, opinionated, programme-shaped. Each volume is a 21-, 30-, 60-, or 90-day plan that takes one specific stuck point — sleep, anxiety, rates, first hire, attention — and walks you out of it.
Two tracks inside the series:
- The Inner Game. Wellbeing, mindset, habits. Six volumes.
- The Practitioner. Business, craft, career. Eight volumes.
Pick up a Field Guide when you know what to change and need someone to hand you the calendar.
Series II · The Operator's Library
For the work of building with AI.
The new line. Technical literacy for operators, founders, and small teams who aren't engineers but need to think like architects. Each volume teaches one layer of the AI-native stack — mental models, prompting, automation, agents, evaluation, governance.
Four tiers inside the series:
- Tier I — How to think. Mental models, prompting, daily-driver tooling.
- Tier II — How to build. Automation, agents, the context layer.
- Tier III — How to ship reliably. Integrations, evals, cost & performance.
- Tier IV — What to do with it. Governance, the AI-native business, adoption.
Pick up a Library volume when you have the time, the curiosity, and one weekend to climb a rung on the architecture ladder.

Editorial direction
The series is largely complete in coverage. Suggested next additions: Negotiation (closes the loop on Rates), Focus & Deep Work (sibling to Procrastination), Money Basics for Solo Operators (the unaddressed financial layer), and Decision-Making (frameworks for the 11 p.m. calls). Four volumes max before the series should stop expanding.

Editorial direction
Suggested ship order for the next three volumes: II·02 Prompting Like a Pro first (widest audience, lowest prerequisite, the volume the others will keep citing), then II·01 Mental Model (makes the rest cohere), then II·05 Designing AI Agents (direct sequel to the BPA guide, same readers, deeper). After those four shipped, II·08 Evaluating AI Systems takes priority — the unglamorous volume that turns a Library reader into a Library operator.
